Apps to SD

How do you do this on Cliq? Their is very little internal memory on the phone for apps so Apps to SD would really help

I use DarkTremors Apps2SD. Its flashable in recovery. You can give it a shot...depending on which ROM you're already using it mite already include it in the build..

Never heard of link2sd.

@Supamike114...Depending on what ROM you are using, some come equipt with DarkTremor, and of course some don't.............but once again, my homie @Double0EK is right on the money :)

Are their only certain apps that you can put on your SD?

I installed the DarkTremor Apps2SD. However im not an expert on this stuff. Could you explain the process of getting it to work on a cliq? I dont really know about the partioning thing too.

Well @Supamike114 you will need to do the following.
1. Backup your sdcard files (when partitioning it will format it and it will erase everything off of your sdcard)
2. Double Check to make sure that you did the backup...
3. With the sdcard in its slot (in the phone) Boot into recovery (I recommend j_r0dds 2.0 - it simplifies it)
4. Scroll down and choose - Partition SD
5. Then just pick the size of the partition you want..
I'm using 528mb with 0 SWAP reaminder FAT32 ext4.
Because my sdcard is only a class 4 I disabled swap (I notice a big lag when swap is on - depending on the Class of your SD it mite be a lot smoother for you to run swap)

Note- When in the partition sub-menu you will need to use the Volume

I just want to share other way to install app and games in sdcard, so your internal memory can save more space. And so I know what is link2sd use for. CMIIW. I'm still newbie.

1. Your CLIQ has to be rooted

2. Install MiniTool Partition Wizard in your komputer. This is for making partition in your sdcard. Download at http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-...n-manager.html it's free.

3. Make SD card partition into 2 parts. (set system file to FAT 32 and Type Primary at partition). it's up to you how much your size of partition. But I think 500MB-1GB is enough.

4. Download and install link2sd from market.

Here are some benefits by using link2sd:

1. we can choose which apps we want to install to sd card. So not like apps2sd, all installed apps will be automatically moved to sdcard, including widgets apps.
2. there is a user interface, so you can easily set to move your apps from sd to phone, and from phone to sd.

4. almost like native froyo move to sd.
3. Easy to use and free.
